We invite you to the DIVERSE Conference on the 27th - 29th June, 2007. This year's event is hosted by Lillehammer University College and the DIVERSE organization.
The main goal for the conference is to enhance the use of video in teaching and learning. To achieve this we are inviting those who produce, use or want to use video in their daily work, or do research within this area. The conference framework will be a combination of internationally known keynote speakers, plenary sessions and parallel sessions along with an interesting social program with new experiences. Our main theme will be video as a technology and method for supporting human communication over distances in time and space (Enlund, N., KTH).
The conference will be held in Lillehammer. The town of Lillehammer with its 25,000 inhabitants is internationally known as the host city of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games. Lillehammer is a picturesque town with its location at the northern end of Norway's largest lake Mjosa and its close proximity to beautiful mountain scenery. The conference will be held at Lillehammer University College. The College is proud of its building facilities which served as the International Broadcast Centre for the Winter Olympics and is today the location for The Norwegian Film School, Faculty of Television Production and Filmstudies as well as other study programmes, including Pedagogics.
Welcome to Lillehammer
